Gene spans within T1DBase are built from various data sources including UCSC, EnsEMBL and NCBI. The website is currently on the following builds - Human (GRCh37), Mouse (NCBIM37) and Rat (RGSC3.4).
Genes can be searched for by HGNC name (e.g. CTLA4), entrez id (e.g. 1493) or UniGene id (e.g. Hs.247824) by entering your search term in the box at the top right of every page.
Furthermore, more complex gene-based querying of the website can be undertaken below.
Is my Gene found in a T1D Region?
To find if your gene of interest is located within any T1D susceptibility regions, enter the gene HGNC symbol in the search box. |
What Variants are located within my Gene?
